Sensei’s Alan and Sue Spillard are both 6th Dan black belts and have been teaching for over 30 years, both their sons are 5th Dan black belts and two of their grand children are also black belts.

They have trained hundreds of students to black belt and beyond. It is testament to their teaching that students they have taught as juniors have now come back with their children to train.

All clubs have the same ethos students learn through interesting and inspiring training, to become more confident more socially aware, and to be able to discipline themselves. We welcome all ages and abilities from five years up. The importance of inclusion of all students in the clubs who are mentored and encouraged whatever their ability is what sets us apart from other styles of Karate.
